I am a Research Scientist at the MIT Nuclear Reactor Laboratory. As a condensed-matter physicist, I use neutrons and x-rays, and occasionally visible light, to study structure and dynamics of interesting materials, such as superconductors, magnetic systems, and cholesterol crystals, among others. I am also building a neutron microscope, in collaboration with colleagues at NASA and NIST.
